Aaron wants to go behind the scenes and his private plans

Since his foray into the entertainment scene some umpteen years ago in 1984 as a TVB dancer, Aaron has never looked back.

Starting off playing forgettable roles on TV, the pretty boy with a cute puppy-dog eyes and “curtain fringe” hair finally got his big break when advertisers picked him for a motorbike advertisement- one that shot him to fame almost immediately in Asia where he later was later placed on the pedestal as 4 Heavenly Kings.

Having progressed from being a mere dancer, to an actor, to singer and a much sought-after celebrity on the silver screen, the 35-year-old who is at the prime of his life revealed that he recently sat down for a meeting with his company to draw up some of his future plans.

Fans are still important

Since the days where the 27-year-old promised that he would remain a virgin till he was 30, nothing much has changed. Aaron’s lucky fans still feature an important part in his future plans.

Says the dashing heavenly king who is planning a world tour to Malaysia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto and even the eastern shores of America or China, “I just want to get closer to my fans and want to have more interaction with them.”

With his fans in mind, Aaron has planned for longer promotional period for his following albums, starting with, Xin Tian Di (New World), so that he can go to various countries and touch base with his fans.

Aaron takes it slow when it comes to music

But the need to slowly reach out and share his music with all his fans, says Aaron, stemmed from the fact that this is one album, which he is rather proud of.

“In the past, I would take about 2 months to record an album and maybe another 2 months to do some promotion and that was it. It was really a waste because in every album, there are still many very nice songs which were not given enough attention or coverage,” says Aaron.

Using no less than 8 months to prepare for his latest album, Aaron says he is happy that he is given the luxury of being stringent with production standards and this is why he is pleased with most of the songs in the album.

And his satisfaction with the album is the reason why he is taking the trouble to promote one song a month over the next few months.

“Music is still very important to me,” says Aaron. Now, the popular singer wants to focus on churning out quality music.

And perhaps, the following best sums up what Aaron has in mind for his music career in the next few years.

“Even though Xin Tian Di is a Cantonese album, I am sure my fans all over the world would still receive it warmly because I believe it to be of a certain standard. It is a mark of my desire to do something different so that my fans and people who have never purchased Aaron’s music before can pay some attention to my music.”
